The service will be on February 11, 2017 at Evans Miller Guinn Chapel, 425 N Kaweah Ave, Exeter at 10:00 am. At a later date to be determined a reception will be held in Stanwood, WA and his ashes will be spread.
Obituary:
Frank Eugene Wood, 64, passed away on February 2, 2017 at home in Visalia, Ca. Frank was born to Gordon and Rella Wood in Seattle on September 18, 1952. In Frank’s childhood he was very active in FFA and 4-H, along with his brothers and sister and his parents. He graduated from Stanwood High School in 1970 and went on to graduate from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Ag Education. He worked 20 years for Dairy Herd Improvement Association in Burlington, Washington. It was there he met his future wife Lisa McFarland. Frank and Lisa were married in 1985 and lived in Mount Vernon WA until 1999, when they moved to Meridian, Idaho. From there, they moved to Visalia where Frank worked in other Agriculture related positions and retired in 2015.
Frank loved to go fishing, camping, boating, crabbing, and being outdoors. Frank was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles in Exeter. Frank was a gentleman and a true friend to many. He had a big heart.
Frank is survived by his wife Lisa; his sister Liz (Bruce) Anderson of Onalaska, WA; his brothers Ken Wood and Bill Wood of Stanwood, WA and numerous nieces and nephews.
